Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a reputable client located in Clearwater, FL. This role involves managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining robust relationships with both internal and external partners. Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other relevant programs.
• Process transactions in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors.
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors as well as colleagues.
• Handle accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of financial transactions and procedures.
• Assist with audits and other financial reporting requirements.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members and departments.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field (preferred).
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (preferred).

Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, during standard business hours.

Benefits

The position offers competitive pay ranging from $24 to $25 per hour.
